Dodik in trouble, Bosnian Prosecutor's Office issues arrest warrant

Milorad Dodik is in trouble again. The Bosnia and Herzegovina Prosecutor's Office has issued a police warrant for the detention of the president of Republika Srpska, Prime Minister Radovan Višković and the speaker of the parliament of this entity, Nenad Stevandić, for questioning. The news has been confirmed by regional media.

A2 CNN reports that authorities in Republika Srpska plan to define the entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state of the Serb people, grant it the right to self-determination, create its own army and abolish the Council of Peoples, according to a new draft of the Republika Srpska Constitution, cited by Radio Free Europe.

These changes violate the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The three leaders of Republika Srpska are accused of committing the criminal offense of “attacking the constitutional order.” (A2 Televizion)
