19-year-old model dies after losing parachute straps in Budva

A serious incident has occurred on the Budva Riviera in Montenegro, where a 19-year-old girl from Serbia, Tijana Radonić, lost her life after falling from a height of 50 meters during a parachute flight. A2 CNN writes that the moment of the fall was recorded by security cameras.

The footage shows the young woman in a panic, removing her vest and then the safety straps that were holding her to the flying device. Moments later, she falls from the height.

Witnesses at the scene said they heard the young woman screaming "Put me down!" and "Help!" before the tragedy struck. The girl was filming a commercial for a local travel agency and, according to media reports, had initially appeared calm and enthusiastic.

The tragic incident occurred on May 28, 2025, while the 19-year-old was filming an advertisement for a local travel agency. It is suspected that the victim may have panicked during the flight, which led to her fatal decision to unbuckle her seatbelt, but her family disputes this.
