Hundreds of students and protesters blocked a key bridge in Belgrade to protest the deaths of 16 victims in a train station disaster last November. Daily student-led protests have spread across much of Serbia over the past four months.
Protesters on the Branko Bridge, which connects the city center with the Novi Beograd area, waved flags, blew whistles and chanted their perennial slogan, "get them out."
Many in Serbia have linked the Novi Sad disaster to widespread corruption and mismanagement.
The authorities and President Aleksandar Vučić and his ruling party deny these allegations. They also accuse Vučić of links to organized crime, stifling media freedoms and violence against political opponents. (A2 Televizion)
