A serious accident was registered on Saturday morning in Croatia, where the Minister of Defense, Mario Banozic, was among the crashed cars.
The incident happened at the exit of Vinkovci, where the minister's car collided with a van and as a result the driver of the latter died.
The government spokesman, Marko Miliç, confirmed the accident, saying that the health of the minister is good, but the media write that Banozic has broken his leg.
"This morning at 06:15 a traffic accident was reported on the state road DC-55 at the exit from Vinkovci in the direction of Zhupanja, in which a van and another car were involved. The driver of the van lost his life in traffic. accident, while the driver of the other vehicle was transported to the General Hospital of the Vinkovci District due to the injuries received", the police write.
