Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić predicts more unrest and conflicts in 2024, as he mentions the elections in Taiwan, the USA and Russia as opportunities for a new order of values at the world level.

In a speech on the occasion of the 182nd anniversary of the founding of the Academy of Sciences and Arts in Serbia, Vučić mentioned Kosovo among the challenges weighing on the country.

He made it clear that they will not give up what is theirs, international law, territory and people.

"It is important to protect what belongs to our country, to maintain peace and not to endanger the future of the country by waiting for a favorable opportunity to appear before the world with truth and justice," said Vucic .

But, as he expresses his determination not to let go of Kosovo, Vucic adds that Serbia will insist on compromise, even though this is something that, according to him, others will not want.

"It is very important that we find a common denominator in order to preserve our country, our freedom and our future. Our way is to insist on compromises. Even though we know that others don't want these things, it's better to buy than to give up something we don't want to give up," continued Vucic.

According to him, compromises have already become an abominable word, and respect for other's views is almost non-existent.  (A2 Televizion)
