A peaceful and stable Western Balkans remains NATO's focus, said the alliance's Secretary General, Mark Rutte, in his speech before the two-day Summit being held in Brussels.
"It's one of the issues that we've all focused on. As you know, I've been in Sarajevo and Pristina, and recently I had discussions with the president of Serbia here in Brussels. So we, as NATO, are pretty involved and we want to make sure that the Western Balkans is stable and secure, together with our five allies: Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia and Albania."
