Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is using Russian spies to refute protesters' accusations that a powerful sonic weapon was used against them.
In an extraordinary press conference, he claimed that investigations by the Federal Security Service, FSB, showed that this weapon was not used.
"The FSB is a service whose director is Alexander Bortnikov, a man who, for me, has been the head of one of the most powerful services in the world in history for a long time and is one of Vladimir Putin's close associates. They state, and I quote: 'Based on the results obtained, a categorical conclusion can be made that the powerful acoustic devices, which the Serbian police possess, were not used during the protest.' That was the conclusion.
"Everything was prepared in advance and the calculations were made as part of a... colorful revolution, through which a war is being waged against Serbia, in the political, economic, psychological and informational aspects. Therefore, shame on you, you miserable liars. You wanted to harm your country and you have caused it a lot of harm. You have caused a lot of harm to your Serbia. Shame on all of you who participated in this," Vučić said. (A2 Televizion)
