The student protest in Belgrade is similar to the Solidarnos movement in Poland and a second chance for Serbian society. This is what the Serbian analyst of regional politics, Dusan Janjic, said in Ditarin with Bruna Çifligu. According to him, this is not a party movement, but the anger of the citizens towards the government in Serbia.

"The message is to peacefully move towards freedom of speech and justice. Today they sent a message to the high prosecutor's office, which is a symbol of the dysfunction of the institutions in Serbia. These movements are for the dissatisfied citizens in Serbia and a kind of crystallization and anger of the citizens towards the government and the situation in Serbia. It is not a pro-opposition movement but an independent one and it will spread and I hope you will become more and more influential in the public scene of Serbia. It is basically a second chance for Serbian society. They are large-scale movements that are dissatisfied with the situation in Serbia and not only with the government. It is a strong movement of young people who have established ties with other social groups. Today we had the students and the postal union and many unions will join this movement. It is something similar to the Solidarnos events in Poland. It cannot be a party movement and it cannot be extinguished only because of electoral calculations".

In A2 CNN, the Serbian analyst stated the 3 options how Vučić and Vučević will face the protests, where the first according to him is the peaceful change of power.

"At the political level, the main topic is how the government will react and how Vucic and the majority parties will react. We have 3 options; the first which is my favorite is peaceful change of power change. The first way is for Vucic to reform his party, to have a better situation for next year and early parliamentary elections. Vučić and Vučević are insisting on a government of ethnic unity and the people are against this".

Regarding the rise of tensions, Janjic pointed out on A2 CNN that they did not understand the student protest and produced a lot of violence involving the police and the special Cobra unit, but the message of the students according to him was; "you can send Cobra, but we are anacondas".

"They are not able and have shown that they did not understand the protest of the students and other groups and therefore carry out many activities that can produce serious problems and violence, the involvement of the police and special military units Cobra and for this reason it is one of the the slogans they have chosen; the students have brought a message: "You can send Cobra but we are Anaconda. Which means that they are ready to face this challenge".

Other possibilities, according to the Serbian analyst   , "are to build a process in time to prepare the new democratic conditions for the elections and to have some kind of transition, and the fight for this is between the opposition that still wants a reform of the government and some others that do not are ready to release it. This will be the main issue of how the players will respond to the power mechanism".

He accused Vučić of ties to criminal groups and clans that have the main weight in Serbia's economy, and expressed concern about a Syria-like scenario in Serbia.

"Vučić is not showing leadership, I am worried about this "deep state" not only for business structures, the army and the police, but also for criminal groups and leaders of criminal clans who are involved in the Serbian economy, especially investments in infrastructure and possess large funds in these investments that come to launder the money of the drug business and this type of business is not local and is under the control of Vucic himself. He is performing as if he controls them but he has received too many signals. Everything is not only in his hands, but also in the hands of internationals who control the drug business in Serbia. Not coincidentally, in this period of preparation for the student protest, Vučić paid 10 million for the supply of technology and this was to invest in technology in Gaza to stop the protest. Everyone was talking about Russia, but Russia is a side player. At the moment Vucic is leading with technology and Mossad people are hurting themselves and I'm worried that everything will end up destroying Vucic's policies. It can be extended for a few months, as can be the scenario of Syria".
