Following the tragic event at the Kocani discotheque, where over 59 people lost their lives and over 100 were hospitalized, a call for protest is spreading on social media.
The protest will be held in the city park of Kocani, for institutions that work and perform their duties.
“Citizens demand concrete changes.” They will fight for a city without party-based hiring, for institutions that function, for police that are here for us, for inspection services that will do their job, for public spaces that will be safe and clean.
The protest is for justice, for each of us, for every victim we have lost and for all of us who live every day in this city. "We cannot bring back our beloved fellow citizens, but we are forced to fight for their honor and to change this inefficient system that does not provide security, well-being and justice," reads the post on Koçan's Facebook profile.
