100 thousand people against anti-Semitism in Paris

More than 100,000 people took part in a march on Sunday in Paris to protest against rising acts of anti-Semitism fueled by the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, representatives of the left, conservative and centrist parties of President Emmanuel Macron's party, as well as far-right leader Marine Le Pen, took part in the march, which took place under tight security measures.

President Macron was not present, but expressed his support for the protest and called on citizens to stand up against the resurgence of rampant anti-Semitism.

Security authorities deployed 3,000 police forces along the route where the march was held, amid an alarming increase in acts against France's Jewish community since October 7, when Hamas launched its attack on Israel. (A2 Televizion)
