All passengers and crew members on the plane that crashed and then rolled over while landing at Toronto's Pearson Airport in Canada have survived, according to the airport's chief executive, Deborah Flint.
"We are happy that there were no losses of life, but only relatively minor injuries," she said.
A child and two adults were seriously injured in the collision, according to emergency services, while 18 people were taken to hospital.
Footage posted on social media shows the plane rolling over after attempting to land in snowy, windy conditions.
It appears to be missing at least one of its arms.
Pearson Airport said the plane belonged to the American company Delta, and had departed from Minneapolis. It was carrying 80 people, 76 passengers and four crew members.
The airport was closed after the incident, but flights have since returned, according to authorities.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said it has hired a team to understand exactly how the incident happened.
Two runways will be closed for several days for investigations and passengers have been told they may face delays.
The incident in Canada occurred shortly after several similar incidents in North America in late January.
