At least 18 people were killed and 23 others injured in a traffic accident in Mexico involving a bus traveling from Oaxaca City to Tehuantepec, in the southwest of the country.
The vehicle was carrying a group of National Regeneration Movement supporters from Mexico City, who had attended a rally in support of President Claudia Sheinbaum.
The accident occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle on a curve in a mountainous area along the Mitla-Tehuantepec highway, near the town of Santo Domingo Narro, and fell into a ravine. (A2 Televizion)
