Dozens of schools were evacuated in Hungary this Thursday after a bomb alert was sent via email to many educational institutions.
The threats have affected a total of 121 schools across the country, alerting authorities, who carried out detailed checks.
According to some reports from Hungarian police, an unidentified person threatened to attack "any gathering place, any landmark" in what he said was a violent extremist plot organized by an unnamed "caliphate."
After verifications, no explosive devices were found in the schools checked, while Hungarian authorities have requested assistance from neighboring Slovakia, where a similar threat of a massive bomb has recently occurred. (A2 Televizion)
