"Ukraine's survival is hanging in the balance". The alarm was raised by the American Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, in a conference from Germany.
In his latest briefing on Ukraine, Austin urged partner countries to stand together and fight for its survival.
"This coalition has had support for almost three difficult years. The fight and we must not stop now, therefore I am leaving the contact group not with a farewell, but with a challenge. The coalition supporting Ukraine must not back down. It must not falter and it must not fail. Ukraine's survival hangs in the balance, but so does our entire security. Russia's attack started with Ukraine, but it will not stop there. The risk is now global. Today, more than 50 countries are coordinating with Ukraine to provide vital assistance and this has helped Ukraine, turning its military effort into one of the greatest success stories of our time."
