The plane carrying the US Secretary of State from Washington to Munich encountered a technical problem during the flight and turned back, landing at Andrews Air Force Base.
The State Department announces that Marco Rubio will travel to Germany and then to Middle Eastern countries on another plane, being delayed for several hours.
Rubio will travel to Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference and the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
He will then travel to Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to meet with senior officials. (A2 Televizion)
