Erdogan telephone conversation with Meloni: Israeli aggression is taking place

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described Israel's military advance in Syria as "aggression" during a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, adding that "this attitude does not contribute to the stability of Syria and that it is imperative that Syria be freed from terrorist elements".

According to the presidency of the Republic of Ankara, Erdogan said that "recent developments have shown how accurate the humanitarian and conscientious policy followed by Turkey was," underlining "the importance of preserving Syria's territorial integrity."

Meanwhile, at the 15th Conference of Ambassadors, Erdogan said that the Assad regime has fled Syria, leaving behind massacres, destruction and barbarism.

"The Assad regime has fled Syria, leaving behind a vast wasteland full of massacres, destruction and barbarism. The oppressors have lost, the oppressed have won once again. The evil that has happened in Syria with blood and tears for 61 years now it's over," he said. (A2 Televizion)
