The guided-missile destroyer USS Thomas Hudner has shot down a Yemeni Houthi rebel drone while sailing in the Red Sea, US officials have confirmed, while stressing that fortunately no one was injured.
This is the next attack in a wave of missiles against US forces stationed in Iraq and Syria by Houthi rebels, who are backed by Iran. These attacks are commented by experts as a revenge for the US support to Israel in the war against Hamas.
