Ukraine's air force says Russia launched 99 drones overnight into the country, writes A2 CNN.
According to foreign media, of these, it is said that 65 were shot down and 30 others disappeared from radar without reaching their targets.
The air force reported damage in six regions across Ukraine as a result of the attack, writes A2 CNN.
Earlier, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Yulia Svyrydenko, told a press conference that Russia has attacked Ukrainian energy facilities 1,200 times since the beginning of its invasion in 2022.
Due to these Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the country has experienced 'wild' winters in recent years, which have further increased the hardship on the civilian population.
