The French against the war in Gaza, the Finns condemn the killing of Palestinians

With banners and white flags in hand, hundreds of thousands of French women, including artists and public figures, marched in Paris on Sunday in a call for peace amid the simmering conflict in the Middle East.

The demonstrators, among whom the well-known actress Isabelle Adjani was included, spoke out against all wars, saying that victims were being recorded on both sides.

A pro-Palestinian demonstration was also held in Finland. Thousands of people took to the streets of Helsinki demanding an end to the killing of Palestinians, denouncing Israel's occupation of Gaza and Finland's arms trade with the Jewish state.
