The coalition that will lead the new government in Germany after the elections could be called the "Albanian Coalition", writes A2 CNN.
The German news agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur reports that the coalition expected to be formed between the conservative CDU/CSU union and the Social Democratic Party (SPD) will no longer be referred to as a "grand coalition," or GroKo, as it was known during the years when Angela Merkel was chancellor.
This is because the SPD is not the second largest party in the new German Bundestag, as the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party came ahead of it in Sunday's elections.
As talks to form a coalition continue, the search for a new coalition name has also begun, writes A2 CNN.
Following a strange tradition of naming coalitions in Germany after the flags of other countries, among the first suggestions were the "Albanian Coalition" or the "Angolan Coalition" (the colors of the two parties are black and red, although in both cases the flags also contain additional elements).
But there are other names that have been proposed such as the "Coke Zero Coalition" - "Real Taste and Zero Calories".
Once these technicalities are resolved, the formation of a new government in Germany is expected, as future Chancellor Friedrich Merz has also stated. (A2 Televizion)
