Champion Usyk asks Trump: Come to my house in Ukraine for a week, watch missiles

World boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk has extended an invitation to President Donald Trump to spend a week at his home in Ukraine to get an insight into the war with Russia.

According to foreign media, the former boxer, an undisputed world champion in both the lightweight and heavyweight divisions, said that Trump needs to understand the situation more deeply.

"I offer him my house. Let him come to Ukraine. I will give him my house and my security guards. I will ensure his complete safety," Usyk told CNN. "Let him live in my house for a week and see how missiles fly over it and how people live in Ukraine."

"And when he comes secretly, let him live somewhere in (Kiev's neighborhoods) Obolon or Troyeshchyna, where houses, residential buildings are being bombed. Then he will understand what is happening," he said further, writes A2 CNN.

Trump has previously claimed he could resolve the war within 24 hours of taking office, although this did not happen.

"He should be responsible for the words he said," Usyk added, writes A2 CNN.

"He said that within a month or a day he would stop this war. He is not responsible for his words. Why is he talking?" he concluded. (A2 Televizion)
