Zelensky's advisor reveals three axes on which Ukraine-US negotiations in

The axes on which the negotiations expected to be held next week in Saudi Arabia between representatives of Ukraine and the United States will be based have been analyzed by Volodymyr Zelensky's advisor, Mykhailo Podoliak, in an interview with the BBC.

According to Podoliak, the plan includes discussions on the minerals deal, military aid to Ukraine, and the format of the peace dialogue with Moscow.

"In these bilateral processes, three main aspects should be discussed - firstly, a framework agreement on fossil fuels, which is still being formulated. Secondly, military aid to Ukraine and thirdly, what could be the form of the negotiation process with Russia. What stages could there be and how would the positions between us, Europe and the US be agreed?!", declared Podoliak.

As he said later, at this stage, Zelensky's office and the administration of US President Donald Trump are conducting direct dialogue about the upcoming bilateral meeting, with Riyadh being considered as a possible venue for its hosting.

It is also planned that Zelensky will first have official talks with representatives of Saudi Arabia (Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman) and then a separate meeting will be held at the level of representatives of the US and Ukrainian administrations.

Speaking about military assistance, Podoliak noted that only the United States can provide the Ukrainian armed forces with some types of critically important weapons, such as missiles for the Patriot air defense system.

According to Zelensky's adviser, "The United States is managing the negotiation process regarding Ukraine and Europe quite strongly . "

In another interview with the French media outlet Le Point, Podoliak explained that Ukraine has no reason to apologize to the US for Zelensky's heated conversation with Trump and Vance in the Oval Office.  "He was right, he was not wrong," he said. (A2 Televizion)
