Kiev has endured another night of terror as a result of Russian aerial bombardment. Some 1,621 combat drones were launched from Moscow in what many experts are calling the Ukrainian White Night. Ukrainian air defense forces said they shot down several of the drones launched from Russia over the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, in the early hours of Thursday.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said drone debris fell in a district of Kiev, but reported no damage or casualties.
Russian attacks targeted gas infrastructure in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region but also knocked out electricity supplies in the southern Odessa region for a second night in a row, Ukrainian officials said.
Meanwhile, United States President Donald Trump has continued to accuse Volodymyr Zelenskyy of being incapable of ending the war.
"Europe has failed to bring peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the gravy train going. I don't know what the problem is, but he couldn't. He's very upset that he wasn't invited to the meeting in Riyadh. He could have come if he wanted to, but he wasn't invited to Saudi Arabia, and he wasn't even on the phone calls to stop this war. It's a terrible thing," Donald Trump said.
Trump further emphasized that Zelenskyy refuses to talk to Putin to end the war. He emphasized that the Ukrainian leader has a lot of dissatisfaction among the people.
"I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job. His country has been destroyed and millions and millions of people have died needlessly. And you can't end a war if you don't talk to both sides. You have to talk. He refuses to have elections, I mean, how can you be on top with every city being destroyed? It's hard to be," Trump added.
