China has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization against tariffs imposed by the United States.
According to foreign media, it was a spokesperson at the Ministry of Commerce who made public the news that China has also filed a lawsuit with the World Trade Organization (WTO).
The tariff imposed by the US "seriously violates WTO rules, harms the legitimate rights and interests of WTO members, and undermines the rules-based multilateral trading system and the international economic and trade order," the spokesperson said, A2 CNN reports.
"It is a typical unilateral bullying practice that endangers the stability of the global economic and trade order. China resolutely opposes this," he further said.
