“He believes,” she added, “in favoring dictators like Vladimir Putin and kicking our Canadian friends in the teeth.” “He sees American leadership,” she continued, “as a simple real estate transaction. I was a girl who grew up in the Cold War and I am grateful that Reagan and not Trump was in the White House. Trump would have made us lose the Cold War.”
