Viktor Orban's party in Hungary has launched a campaign of insults against the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, similar to what she did earlier with her predecessor, which aroused the reaction of Brussels.
On the big "billboards" that were put up overnight, dawning Monday, November 20, Ursula von der Leyen appears together with Alex Soros, the son of the liberal financier of Hungarian origin George Soros, a permanent target of hostility from the ruling party Fidesz.
"Let's not dance to their tunes," reads the slogan in big letters, as the campaign comes ahead of next June's European parliamentary elections. European Commission spokesman Eric Mamer said the signs did not bother Ursula von der Leyen. (A2 Televizion)
