An " extremely poisonous " green mamba , about two meters long, has escaped from its owner's home in the south of the Netherlands.
The snake's owner notified police late Monday night that a reptile was missing, and he took action by moving his snake collection to another area.
The authorities immediately raised the alarm, calling on the residents of the southern region of the country to be more vigilant. The municipality of Tilburg also called on the residents of a neighborhood near the train station to be careful and " not to approach the snake ".
" The mamba is dangerous and its bite is extremely poisonous. If it bites someone, it is important that that person receives medical treatment immediately ," said the announcement of the municipality, which also posted a photo of the green reptile on its website.

Residents are asked if they see the snake to stay away and notify the authorities immediately. " Do not try to catch it yourself ", the warning notice says.
According to the experts called by the municipality, the tropical snake will not easily leave the place where it is sheltered, due to the prevailing weather conditions in the Netherlands.
" He likes dark and warm places ", clarified the municipality. (A2 Televizion)
