Kim Jong-un's communist fighters have suffered a major defeat in Russia's war in Ukraine. Over a thousand North Korean soldiers were killed or wounded while fighting alongside Putin's troops against Kiev's forces.
These are the estimates of the South Korean military, referring to data obtained from their secret service. The massacre of communist Korean soldiers is said to have come from being used as front-line assault troops and on unfamiliar battlefields, as well as from their lack of experience with drones.
CNN reports that North Korean fighters were given fake military documents with Russian names and places of birth inside the Federation. This came after Ukraine confirmed the killing of several soldiers in the western Russian region of Kursk.
American, Ukrainian and South Korean intelligence estimates put the number of North Korean soldiers in Russia at 11,000 to 12,000, some of whom are already engaged in combat operations.
Seoul says communist Korea is ready to send more soldiers to fight for Moscow. The Wall Street Journal reports that North Korea is deepening military cooperation with Russia, increasing arms supplies in exchange for cash and oil.

"So far there is no concrete plan", said the spokesperson.
