The number of victims in Gaza has exceeded 12,000, including 500 children. The figures were made public by Hamas officials.
Ismail Thawabta, head of the government-run Hamas press office, also announced that 3,750 people are missing.
According to Hamas, at least 1,800 children may still be under the rubble.
Meanwhile, Doctors Without Borders announced that they are trying to evacuate some of their staff and family members who have been trapped in the organization's buildings near the Al Shifa hospital in Gaza.
Since last Saturday, around 137 MSF staff, 65 of whom are children, have not been able to leave the buildings where they are located due to the fighting that is happening in the area. (A2 Televizion)
