Iran's Communications Minister says the internet in Iran has returned to its "previous state," meaning before the latest government-imposed shutdown following the ceasefire.
According to foreign media, Sattar Hashemi wrote in a post on the social network 'X' that Iran "will not experience that situation again."
The Iranian government announced on June 17 that authorities had slowed the internet to "combat cyberattacks," however, near-total internet outages have been reported.
The ban on major social media platforms, such as the social network 'X', is still in effect in Iran and people inside the country are using VPNs and other methods to bypass it, writes A2 CNN.
Many Iranian officials, such as the Supreme Leader of Iran, also have accounts on 'X', despite the ban imposed on it by the country itself. (A2 Televizion)
