Minister Umerov: Ukraine has sent more than 200,000 drones to the front lines

Ukraine has sent more than 200,000 domestically produced drones to the front lines so far this month, according to its defense minister.

According to foreign media, Rustem Umerov said: "In addition to equipment from our partners, more and more Ukrainian-made weapons are already operating on the front line, a joint effort of defenders and manufacturers."

President Volodymyr Zelensky has also said Ukraine aims to produce at least 30,000 long-range drones next year, which could be used to target Russian warships, naval bases, airfields and oil refineries.

Kiev has relied on such drones throughout the war to damage Russian strategic and military targets behind the front lines, writes A2 CNN.

We remind you that the President-elect of the USA, Donald Trump, has promised to find an agreement to end the war in Ukraine, as soon as he takes office.

Thousands of people, civilians and military, have lost their lives in Ukraine since February 2022, after Russia's unjustified aggression on its western neighbor, writes A2 CNN.
