European leaders are gathering for a summit in Brussels. At the start of the meeting, EU political leaders told the media that they would stand by Ukraine and spend more on defense as a result of a situation turned upside down by Donald Trump's change in US policies.
"Europe must take on this challenge, this arms race. And it must win it," said Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Meanwhile, outgoing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that it must be reasoned in a cool and wise way that US support is guaranteed in the coming months and years, because Ukraine also depends on their support. (A2 Televizion)
