Today's meeting in the Oval Office of the White House between President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky was accompanied by strong clashes and tensions.
According to foreign media, Zelenskyy called on the US president not to make "compromises with a murderer," referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This statement came after Trump told the Ukrainian president that he either had to make a deal or the US would abandon him, writes A2 CNN.
Earlier, Trump told Zelenskyy that he spoke with Putin "a few days ago," adding that he believes the Russian President wants to make a deal.
But after numerous tensions, the press conference that was planned to be held later this evening, between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been cancelled.
Zelensky is understood to have left the White House, with Trump calling on social media that he should return to the US when he was ready for peace. (A2 Televizion)
