Ukrainian officials have said Russian forces targeted a Ukrainian border town near NATO member Romania with drones.
According to foreign media, the overnight attack hit Izmail, Ukraine's largest port on the Danube River, a waterway that separates Ukraine and Romania.
A post office branch was destroyed in the drone attack, regional governor Oleh Kiper said, A2 CNN reports.
Reuters news agency could not independently verify the reports, but said Russia had not commented on the attacks.
Izmail was also hit by Russian attacks last year. Despite efforts by the US and President Trump to bring peace to Ukraine, Russia has not stopped the attacks, and has even intensified them in recent weeks. (A2 Televizion)
