The trial of 19 people accused of involvement in the attack on a Moscow concert hall last year, when 149 people were killed, begins in Moscow.
Gunmen entered the concert hall, Crocus City Hall, on March 22 of last year, opened fire, and then set the building on fire.
This was one of the deadliest attacks in Russian history. Hundreds of people were injured.
The extremist group, Islamic State (IS), claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
The five suspected attackers - all from Tajikistan, a former Soviet republic in Central Asia - and 15 other people accused of taking part in the attack face trial.
The first three hearings took place last week, according to the Moscow court's website.
The attack shocked Russia, which launched an invasion of neighboring Ukraine in 2022.
Despite IS claiming responsibility, Russia implicated Ukraine in the attack, an accusation that Kiev called baseless and absurd.
Nearly half of the victims died from smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide poisoning, not from firearms, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.
The attack sparked a wave of xenophobia against Central Asian migrants in Russia. (A2 Televizion)
