A serious incident has occurred in Spoleto, in the province of Perugia in Italy, where a small child, just over one year old, was attacked and bitten in the face by the family dog.
The little boy was initially taken to the Spoleto emergency room to receive first aid, but due to the extensive injuries he suffered, he was transported by helicopter to the Terni hospital for specialized treatment.
Fortunately, doctors have declared that the child's life is not in danger and his condition is considered stable. However, the wounds on his face are deep and required immediate intervention.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident, while the parents are in a state of shock after the incident.
