Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has questioned Russia's commitment to peace talks after Moscow confirmed sending a team to talks in Istanbul on Monday.
Zelensky accused Russia of "doing everything it can to ensure that the upcoming meeting is fruitless," stressing that for a meaningful meeting, the agenda must be clear and the negotiations must be properly prepared, writes A2 CNN.
Ukraine has sent its proposals to Russia, reaffirming its "readiness for a complete and unconditional ceasefire." Meanwhile, Russia has yet to send its negotiating proposals to Ukraine, a key demand from Kiev. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow's terms for a ceasefire would be discussed in Turkey.
