Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that Israel's strikes have set back Iran's nuclear program, possibly by years, and added that more severe strikes would come in the coming days.
"We will strike every point and target of the Ayatollahs' regime, and what they have seen so far is nothing compared to what we will do in the coming days," Netanyahu said in a video message.
He added that the Israeli military was destroying Iran's capabilities to produce ballistic missiles.
What is happening now?
• Iran launched a new wave of missiles toward Israel early Saturday, capping a night of explosions and mutual attacks between the two countries that caused devastation in Tel Aviv and Tehran.
• The long-running conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated after an unprecedented Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear and military targets on Friday morning, killing several of the country's top leaders, raising fears of a wider regional war.
• According to Israeli authorities, three people were killed and dozens more were injured in Iranian attacks. Iran has reported at least 78 killed and 320 injured in Israeli attacks, most of them civilians.
