Melania and Donald Trump have just launched their own cryptocurrency as Bitcoin hits another record high.
According to foreign media, the incoming first lady of the United States announced this news yesterday with a post on her official page on the social network 'X'.
A day earlier, Trump launched the $Trump 'meme currency', telling users on his social media platform Truth Social: "It's time to celebrate everything we stand for: VICTORY!"
Despite being critical of cryptocurrency in his first term, Trump has come full circle and is now a champion of decentralized currency.
This morning, Bitcoin hit an all-time high of $109,000 as investors bet that the new President would give the industry a boost when he takes office.
