Elon Musk is following the same aggressive line as Donald Trump, and is even raising his tone against Volodymyr Zelensky. A day after the US president called the Ukrainian leader a "dictator", the billionaire businessman is accusing Zelensky of not holding elections.
"It should be abundantly clear that a poll controlled by Zelensky to gauge his approval rating is not credible! If Zelensky were truly loved by the people of Ukraine, he would hold elections. He knows he would lose big, despite taking control of all Ukrainian media, so he canceled the elections. In fact, the people of Ukraine hate him, which is why he refused to hold elections. I challenge Zelensky to hold elections and reject this. He will not," Musk wrote.
He also believes that Trump is doing the right thing by ignoring Zelensky and seeking to reach a peace treaty, while underlining that the Kiev leader " feeds on the corpses of Ukrainian soldiers ."

Ukraine has been under martial law since the start of the war, in February 2022.
