"Keep your voice down and sign that deal," US issues ultimatum to

Tensions in the relationship between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump and his administration in the US appear higher than ever.

24 hours after the harsh language with which Zelensky and Trump addressed each other through social networks, an ultimatum has come from the US to the Kiev leader.

It was White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz who called on Ukraine to drop its criticism of the US, which is trying to reach a mutually acceptable agreement to end the war.

"They need to tone it down and take a good look and sign this deal," Waltz told Fox News, referring to a critical deal that hands Ukraine's minerals to Washington.

"The resistance from Ukraine to the agreement and the criticism of the way Trump is conducting the peace talks is simply unacceptable," Waltz stressed, underlining that one must take into account everything the United States has done for Ukraine.

At the same time, Waltz believes that the two sides can resolve their differences and reconcile because according to him, Trump "also told him how much he loves the Ukrainian people."

Among other things, Waltz denied that US allies and Ukraine were not consulting.

"There's a term for this in diplomacy. It's called ship diplomacy, because bringing everyone to the table hasn't worked in the past," he said in comments reported by Reuters. (A2 Televizion)
