All four Moscow airports have been temporarily closed, according to Russia's aviation watchdog.
According to foreign media, the airport in Kaluga, which is 160 km southwest of Moscow, has also been closed.
"Flight crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety," Rosaviatsia said in a statement.
No reason has yet been given by the authorities in Russia regarding the closure of the airports, writes A2 CNN.
We remind you that the war in Ukraine has also brought occasional problems with flights, as in some cases the missiles have endangered the safety of the planes.
An Azerbaijan Airlines plane with 67 people on board crashed yesterday in Kazakhstan, after it was allegedly hit by the explosion of a Russian missile.
