It appears that the long-awaited prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine has been temporarily postponed.
According to foreign media, Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to President Vladimir Putin, said that the first list of 640 prisoners of war had been given to Ukraine.
He also said that the frozen bodies of 1,212 Ukrainian soldiers have been brought to the exchange area in refrigerated trucks.
But Medinsky claimed that Ukraine "postponed both the acceptance of troops and the exchange of prisoners of war for an indefinite period."
There has been no response from the Ukrainian side on this issue yet. It seems that the situation between the two countries has become even more tense after Kiev's attacks deep inside Russia a few days ago. (A2 Televizion)
