Iranian attacks continued to hit Israel this afternoon, with several rockets managing to penetrate the Iron Dome defense system.
According to foreign media, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Eyal Zamir, has said that the Israeli military "does not sit idly by in the face of emerging threats."
Zamir says Israel is "in the midst of a multi-front war," citing a visit to the Gaza Strip, as well as seeing sites in Israel hit by Iranian attacks.
He adds: "The IDF is prepared. Day after day, our freedom to act is expanding, while that of the enemy is narrowing."
"We have launched the most complex campaign in our history to repel a threat of such magnitude, against such an enemy, and we must be prepared for a prolonged campaign," he added. (A2 Televizion)
