The head of the British armed forces has said Europe's "two major nuclear powers" are forging a deeper relationship after a meeting with their French counterparts.

According to foreign media, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the chief of the defense staff, said the meeting would help shape the future of British and French military cooperation and enhance joint efforts to support Ukraine with military assistance now and after any peace agreement.

The heads of the British and French armies, navies and air forces met today in London. The heads of the defense forces of both countries also met.

"The combined power of Britain and France coming together is immense," the admiral said, writes A2 CNN.

"The political leadership of Prime Minister Starmer and President Macron is reflected in the military planning that is now underway between our respective headquarters, as we bring together a coalition of volunteers from Europe and beyond," he added. (A2 Televizion)
