Thousands of protesters have gathered outside South Korea's National Assembly in Seoul as lawmakers prepare to vote again to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol.
The latter survived a vote last weekend and has remained in power despite growing calls for him to step down after he tried to impose martial law.
In another part of the capital, Yoon's supporters are also holding a rally in support of the country's leader. Opposition lawmakers have said they will hold an impeachment vote every Saturday until Yoon is removed from office, needing eight members from the ruling party to vote in favor of the impeachment before the motion passes.
President Yoon and his allies are currently under investigation for sedition charges and a travel ban has been placed on some of them. (A2 Televizion)
