A senior White House official claims that the verbal clash between Donald Trump, JD Vance and Volodymyr Zelensky was not premeditated.
“Our plan was to sign the minerals agreement and enter into this economic partnership and move towards peace,” the official said.
Some US allies quickly rallied around Zelensky after the clash, and Democrats in the US Congress denounced Trump's attitude towards the president of a country at war, comparing him to that of a rapist.
President Trump had a bitter clash with the Ukrainian leader, urging him to reach a deal to end the war, accusing the latter of not being grateful enough to the United States. (A2 Televizion)
