In his first visit abroad after being appointed Foreign Secretary, David Cameron traveled to Kiev, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The former prime minister, who has been leading British diplomacy since Monday, once again expressed London's unconditional support to the Ukrainian leader in the confrontation that Ukraine has been carrying out with the Russian army for months.

President Zelensky, for his part, thanked Cameron for the attention shown in these difficult times, when the conflict in the Middle East has drawn global attention from the war between Ukraine and Russia, which has lasted for more than 20 months.

The Ukrainian authorities do not disclose where the meeting took place due to the application of strong security measures during the visits of foreign dignitaries.
