There is no peace plan for Ukraine. This fact has been announced by the special envoy for the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Keith Kellogg.
In an interview with Newsmax, Kellogg said that Donald Trump wants to end the war and he is the only one who can do it. But according to him, there will be no peace plan for Kiev at the Munich Security Conference, which will be held next week.
"The president wants to end the war in Ukraine, he is the only one who can end the war. But the US will not present any peace plan at the Munich conference next week. We will go to Munich, but we will not present a peace plan. The person who will present it is the president of the United States. We will talk to the Europeans, we will report to the president what was said and we will see from there," said Keith Kellogg, Trump's Special Envoy for the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Kellogg also rejected any option for Ukraine to be equipped with nuclear weapons. This was also the idea of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in case the West does not help Kiev.
"The chance that they will ever regain their nuclear weapons is slim. Let's be honest, we both know that won't happen."
Meanwhile, France has delivered the first Mirage 2000-5 fighter jet to Ukraine. "After several months of training of Ukrainian pilots in France, the first aircraft has arrived in Ukraine," French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu said on X.
With Ukrainian pilots on board, these fighter jets will now be used to protect Ukrainian airspace. French President Emmanuel Macron had promised the delivery of the Mirage 2000 jets last June.
At the time, he also promised to train Ukrainian soldiers in France. Since then, about 2,300 Ukrainian soldiers from a brigade called the "Kiev Side" have come to France for training.
