The two famous Italian rappers, Baby Gang and Simba La Rue, have been sentenced by a court in Milan to 5 years and 2 months and 6 years and 4 months in prison.
The rappers, who sing in the "trap" style of music, were accused of a shootout between the two groups, which took place in July 2022 in the Milanese nightlife area around Corso Como, where two Senegalese men were wounded by gunfire.
Together with the singers, the criminal court of Milan has sentenced six other young people from their group for the incident. Two young Albanians were part of the Moroccan "gang" Baby Gang. Eliado Tuci and Andrea Rusta have been sentenced to more than 4 years in prison each.
32-year-old Tuci is known as the tour manager and personal driver of rapper Baby Gang, while Rusta is their close friend.
Thus, Faye Ndiaga, the person who physically shot the two Senegalese, and Mounir Chakib, known as "Malippa", the main manager of the two rappers, were sentenced to 5 years and 8 months.
